Amarillo-- Bonham Teacher Picks up Weekly Award.

    Ask any teacher or student and they'll tell you it's tough to get back into the swing of things after spring break.  We helped ease the pain for one teacher at Bonham Middle School.  Heidi Parson was honored as the KAMR-NBC 4 Teacher of the Week.  "The first day back from spring break is always the toughest. This made it a little easier," Parsons said after getting the award.
    Parsons was nominated by two of her seventh-graders, Aryn Watson and Megan Speed.  They both agree she makes learning fun.  Megan said "even though it is science and not the funnest class, she makes it a blast."
    This is Heidi's first year as a teacher at Bonham and she says she loves the challenge of working with middle school kids.
