An Amarillo Student says his teacher is really there for him. And that's why Nelda Rodriguez is this week's Teacher of the Week. Mrs. Rodriguez teacher 3rd Grade at Whittier Elementary. Her studnent Jimmy, says she helps him be the best student he can be. "It's a great honor, Jimmy's a great student, as are all my students," said Rodruguez.
