Ashley was born and raised in Wheaton, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Telecommunications Production. While attending UF, whether Ashley was working on the football field or sitting under the basketball hoop, she had front row seats in the Gators’ run for National Championships. She reported for Gatorzone, a weekly statewide sports program in addition to working as an associate producer for the Florida Women’s Basketball Coach's Show. Ashley followed her Chicago roots back to WGN where she interned with the White Sox and had the opportunity to work in the booth with “The Hawk.” As an avid traveler and with a fluency in French, Ashley spent a summer studying abroad in southern France. Upon graduation, she worked as a producer for the ABC station in Gainesville before moving to the Panhandle to be a sports reporter at another Amarillo station. Ashley joined KAMR NBC4 and KCIT Fox 14 in March of ’09. Her passion for sports mirrors that of the Panhandle’s, and she excited to be a part of the High Plains sports world.
