As if his name is not enough, I would like to tell you why I think that my father is one of the best fathers in the world.  He was named after the famous baseball player Dizzy Dean.  I have seen my dad face adversity and ridicule just because of his name. 
I remember growing up and the baby in the family and the sickest child in the family my dad was always there for me.  I remember a time when he use to take me to the old TG&Y stores and buy me something if I promised not to cry at the doctors office when I got a shot. I remember a time when he agreed to come and pick me up from college during my freshman year of college all because I was scared when we had a tornado.  I went to school in Oklahoma and that was about 315 miles he was willing to travel.  I decided that I would make it through after my dad stayed on the phone with me for about 30 minutes.  I have really come close to losing my dady and I have never been able to do anything really special for him except to finish college. Fro me, the sun rises and sets in my dad and I would like to see him thrilled for once in his lifetime.
My dad has always made sure that my mother and brother and myself never had to worry about anything even now since his health has failed him. He has had two heart attacks, three strokes, coradid artery surgery, and a toe amputated year before last.  He deserves this give away because he has given all that he can until he cant anymore and he still tries. I love him and cant afford to give him the things that he deserves because I have two kids of my own with no help.  Please consider my dads story and award him this give away.
