I want to tell you a story of a man, a great man, who took on three children to raise.  These children were in no way related to him, yet he wanted to see them exceed.  This man taught the meaning of true love to these three children; taught them to be true to themselves and others; taught them responsibility, to be respectful and took on the chilling task of teaching them how to drive.  This man cared for the children as if they were his own, took them on exciting and fun filled camping trips, stood behind them and encouraged them in every aspect of their lives.  This man is Layton Koch, my Dad and my friend.  I want to thank him for all the wonderful things he has done for me and my brothers and what a wonderful influence he has had and will continue to have on our lives.  Layton is the father of five children and three grandchildren.  We will always be thankful for the things he does for us, the priceless moments we have shared and what great fun having a wonderful father can be!
