  • H1N1 Confirmed in Hemphill County

    HEMPHILL COUNTY - According to the Texas Department of Health, the High Plains has their first confirmed case of Swine Flu. There is one confirmed case of swine flu in Hemphill County. The department is reporting 4,464 cases of H1N1 flu in Texas. Lubbock County has 12 confirmed cases. If you believe that you are sick, you are urged stay home, cover coughs and sneezes, and wash your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and warm water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
