CANYON --- You can take a look at two new elementary schools opening in the Canyon school district. Open Houses will be held on Monday, August 3rd from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at City View Elementary and Hillside Elementary. The schools will open this school year. Around 200 students will attend Hillside and about 300 will start the year at City View. The schools feature added security, built-in tornado shelters and SMART boards in every classroom. City View Elementary is at 3400 Knoll Drive and Hillside Elementary is at 9600 Perry Avenue.
