FOREST, MS --- Police in Scott County, Mississippi were flooded with calls this weekend after a pair of emus wandered into traffic on two area freeways.
Deputies encountered and surrounded one of the emu escapees Sunday.
Police had to taser the bird in the roadway to take it down.
They even handcuffed it.
The emu woke up at the Scott County Forest Coliseum, which is its home until authorities determine who owns it.
The other emu is still on the loose.
