  • Does It Work? Twin Draft Guard
    Reported by: Bri Winkler

    Tuesday, Nov 3, 2009 @05:15pm CST

AMARILLO -- If you're looking to save money and energy this winter, our next Does It Work might be for you.

KAMR NBC 4's Bri Winkler went to Energy Logistics to have energy saving expert Kurt Ridley test out the Twin Draft Guard.

His plan to test it? "We're going to measure the air loss underneath the door. We'll put this product together and install it and see if it works."

This product is very user friendly with a very simple installation.

Kurt had an easy but effective way to test the product. "What we're doing is depressurizing the building, it will pull air underneath the door. We've actually used a simple method to measure or so you can visualize the air loss."

After installing the product under the door, it became clear the draft had stopped. Kurt noted, "they don't seem to be moving at all, it seems to have stopped the air loss."

A victory for homeowners, especially those on a budget. Kurt agreed that this product could save people some real money this winter season.

We gave the Twin Draft Guard 4 stars out of 4. You can get it for around 10 dollars.
