Tuesday, Nov 3, 2009 @08:39am CST SAN ANTONIO --- A San Antonio Spurs player is getting rabies shots after getting a little too close to a bat at Saturday's game against the Sacramento Kings.
Spurs guard Manu Ginobili was at practice Monday but has already had his first round of rabies shots, just as a precaution. Ginobili swatted at the bat that was flying around the court on Halloween. The bat later flew away, so it couldn't be tested for rabies. Ginobili will get more shots over the next month. (Copyright 2009 by VERTEXNews/Newsroom Solutions) |
