PADUCAH -- In Paducah, a family is in mourning after their fourteen year old son died early Thursday morning.
According to Cottle County Sheriff Ken Burns, the boy fell from a moving suv on Wednesday night around eight.
Sheriff Burns says the fourteen year old was standing on the side railing of the trailblazer.
The sheriff is not too sure if the fourteen year old lost his grip but he slid about twenty feet and hit his head on a street curb.
The boy was airlifted to Lubbock and later died.
Sheriff Burns tells us the sixteen year old driver will be ticketed for no drivers license and he believes there was no foul play.
