Kris was born in Albuquerque. His parents are from Clovis. He grew up
in Albuquerque and went to La Cueva High School were he Played varsity
football as a left guard and center. He was also a member of the La
Cueva speech and debate team and even competed in the National
tournament in Washington, D.C. Kris began his college career at Eastern
New Mexico University.
Alan was born and raised in Georgia. His fascination with weather has been with him since childhood. His mom tells the story that, as a small child, Alan would watch the Weather Channel more than he would watch cartoons like most kids his age.
