Rory Makes Chipotle Pepper Cranberry Sauce

Chipotle pepper Cranberry sauce

1 1/4 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 cups frozen Cranberries
Orange zest
1/3 julienne Chipotle pepper ( more if you like extra spicy)

In a pot bring water and sugar to a boil till all sugar is dissolved. Add cranberries and let simmer until cranberries start to burst . once they burst add chipotle pepper slow simmer foe 10 more minutes. remove from heat add zest and refrigerate until chilled.. serve for a yummy sweet and spicy twist  on traditional cranberry sauce.
