Lady Eagles Upset By Snyder

2-16-06 Lubbock - The Canyon Lady Eagles began their road back to the State Basketball Tournament down in Lubbock tonight, but their hopes of a 4-peat fell short at the hands of 19th ranked Snyder.
With just 3.9 seconds left to play Snyder`s Jordan Stansill broke a 39-39 tie with a tip in off a missed shot by Sarina Nadrano.
The Lady Eagles had the last shot but the 3-pointer to win was no good, and the Lady Tigers upset Canyon 41-39.
