Brister Named 3rd Team All-America

3-22-06 Canyon - Lady Buff freshman standout Emily Brister keeps raking in the postseason awards.
Wednesday Brister was named 3rd team Daktronics All-America and was the only player in the Lone Star Conference that was honored. She was also the only freshman in the country to be named All-American.
Brister averaged over 21 points per game and led the nation with 4.1 steals per game.
