Local Author Releases Newest Children's Book

Local author Kimberly Willis Holt's newest picture book, The Adventures of Granny Clearwater and Littler Critter, is a tall tale about a family settling in the West. Although it is a tall tale that stretches the truth, the story includes author notes with facts that get the real story about western expansion that is a great tool for classroom use. The book came from doing research on my historical novel, The Water Seeker
