Local Author Pens Book Helping Parents Identify Child Sex Abuse

It's a problem that probably isn't talked about enough, but one local author is on a mission to change the way families approach child sex abuse. Troy Timmons, licensed professional counselor has just written a new book called Mommy, Please Read This.
Timmons says one out of three girls and one out of six boys are sexually abused before age 18. IN the Amarillo area, 99 percent of sexual abuse against children is committed by a family member or a friend of the family.
