Granger Smith's Chicken and Dumplings
Ingredients:
Chicken Breasts on the Bone
2 Jumbo Canned Biscuits
One Stick of Butter
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Directions:
In a large pot, boil water. Add some salt to water. Once water is boiling, place chicken breasts in water. Allow breasts to boil for 30-45 minutes.
After boiling, remove breasts from the water and pull meat off of the bone. This can be done in shreds or chunks.
Put chicken back in boiling water. Add stick of butter. Then, take biscuits out of the can and make small balls. Put the balls in the water. Add salt and pepper. Allow everything to cook together for about 10 more minutes.
Serve hot.
