Both Buffs And Lady Buffs Fall To MSU

Both the WT Men's and Women's teams fell on Wednesday night in Wichita Falls.
The Lady Buffs were led by Amarillo native Joni Unruh who had 18 points. Despite having three starters in double figures the Lady Buffs dropped their seconds straight conference game. The Lady Buffs are now 8-6 (6-2).
The WT Men jumped out to an early 10-0 lead over #11 Midwestern State before falling in overtime. Four Buffs scored in double figures but Midwestern State had a big advantage in bench play as the Mustang bench dominated the Buff bench 27-4.
The Buffs 11-3 (5-2) fell 66-60 in overtime while the Lady Buffs fell 88-76.
Both teams return to the First United Bank Center on Saturday to host Cameron.
