(Roxbury, MA) -- Northeastern University is applauding students after they rejected having restaurant chain Chick-fil-A open a location at the school's student center.
The school's student Senate passed a resolution Monday night rejecting the chicken chain because of concerns over the restaurant's donations to anti-gay causes.
The university confirmed the decision to bar Chick-fil-A yesterday, adding in a separate statement that the decision affirms the school's commitment to a quote, "inclusive, diverse community."
