Roadside Bomb Injures Eleven People

JALALABAD, AFGHANISTAN --- A roadside bomb injured 11 people including four police offices Thursday in Eastern Afghanistan. The bomb was hidden beside a road in Jalalabad. A government spokesman said most of the people injured were walking by when the bomb exploded. Some of the victims were take to a regional hospital for treatment. One student is in critical condition. The violence follows the deaths of six British soldiers when an explosion hit their armored vehicle in Southwest Afghanistan late Tuesday.
