Police Find Woman Asleep in Car and Arrest Six

AMARILLO -- A woman passed out in a car leads police to arrest six people on various charges.
Police say they found 39-year old Kelly Dawn Vance asleep in the driver's seat around 1:30 this morning.
The car was parked in front of the gas pumps at this Toot-N-Totum at 3rd and Ross.
Vance was arrested for drug possession.
Officers later learned the vehicle was stolen.
Vance told officers she borrowed it from someone at the Value Inn on I-40 East.
When officers went to the motel, they were allowed to search the suspect's room.
Five others were arrested on various charges including drug possession and outstanding warrants.
