Sox Take Third Straight From Worcester

AMARILLO -- The Amarillo Sox won their third straight game with a 13-7 win on Thursday night.
Amarillo used two early runs to take a 2-0 advantage and then added on a run in the 4th inning. Worcester scored five runs in the top of the 7th, but Amarillo answered with five runs of its own in the bottom half of the seventh.
Amarillo has now won 17 of its last 18 homes games. The Tornadoes and Sox will meet again Friday at 7:05 for the finale of the four game set. Amarillo will host Wichita in a four game set beginning on Saturday.
