Water is essential for wildlife in our area, and by providing it for the different species in our area, you can have some pretty fantastic encounters.

Some species don't need surface water (example quail) but will use it if available.  Most wildlife will benefit from providing water.

Different Options for Watering:
- Bird bath
- Troughs help green vegetation in dry spells.  Provides bugs for food, but they may provide a haven for snakes and other unwelcome visitors like skunks.
- Trickling hoses use minimal water, but have great benefit
- Windmill with a standpipe overflow to surface tank
