Loughner Enters Guilty Plea

The man behind the deadly shooting rampage that killed six people and wounded 13 others, including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, has accepted a plea deal.
Jared Loughner opened fire during a community meet and greet hosted by Giffords at a Tucson supermarket.
Tuesday's plea came soon after a federal judge ruled Loughner to be competent, thanks to months of medication to treat his schizophrenia.
Loughner's plea also allows him to avoid the death penalty.
As part of the plea he's expected to serve life in prison without parole.
