CANYON -- Canyon already has a texting while driving ban in place but police are giving people a short reprieve.
City Commissioners told residents at a meeting last night, that officers are considering this a 30 day grace period.
They've already pulled four people over for texting behind the wheel, but say they only issued them warnings.
That ban took effect at the beginning of the month, and official signs are going up around the city now.
