Vacant Duplex Catches Fire

AMARILLO -- A duplex goes up in flames, and threatens a nearby home.
It happened early this morning before 5 a.m. at the 100 block of N Washington.
Fire officials say the duplex was vacant at the time.
A home nearby also caught on fire, but fire officials were able to protect the people inside.
Officials say $35,000 of damage was caused.
No injuries are reported, and investigation is ongoing.
