Washington Woman Arrested and Charged in Fatal January Wreck

AMARILLO -- A Vancouver, Washington woman is charged with two counts of manslaughter after she's involved in a wreck that killed two Amarillo teenagers.
Caroline Nygaard, 50, was arrested Friday in Vancouver, where she currently lives, and booked into the Clark County Jail.
The wreck happened in the early morning hours of January 22, 2012 on the 2700 block of West Amarillo Blvd.
Police reports say a white 2001 Cadillac turned onto North Florida and was hit by a 2005 Chevy Tahoe driven by Nygaard.
The two people in the Cadillac were pronounced dead at the scene.
