Hurricane Sandy's high winds tipped over a construction crane on a New York City high-rise as the storm blew in Monday.
A portion of the crane is still dangling from a building in a crowded part of midtown Manhattan, just two blocks from Central Park.
Officials say it is too dangerous to remove the crane at this time due to lingering winds.
Surrounding streets and buildings were evacuated as a precaution while authorities discuss their next move.
