Brooke West, a senior cheerleader at Borger High School will cheer in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
West was selected as an All-American cheerleader at a camp in Lubbock, which gave her the opportunity to travel to New York City and participate in the annual parade.
"I did not think in a million years this could happen. I remember, like, being little bitty and watching the parade and being, like, oh my gosh, I want to be a cheerleader and I want to do that one day and now I'm here and I feel like people are just, like, watching the parade and hoping they can do that and I just hope people realize that dreams do come true," West said.
West joins many other Panhandle cheerleaders in the parade.
NBC will have full coverage of the parade Thursday morning.
