AMARILLO -- As the West Texas A&M Buffalo's football team gets ready for the national semifinals, many of us in the panhandle won't be able to see it.
KAMR NBC 4 has long carried the Buffs away games. But, this time it's a little different.
At this point in the playoffs, NCAA has given the broadcast rights to ESPN.
That's got a lot of people upset they won't be able to see the game.
But, you can still watch it. It's just going to take a little extra effort.
One of the biggest internet providers in the panhandle, Suddenlink, does offer it. But, you have to access it from your designated IP address.
The change from broadcast television to the internet has a lot of Buffs fans angry because some of them won't be able to access the game as the Buffs move closer to a possible national title.
KAMR NBC 4's General Manager Brandy Sanchez says she has tried everything to get the broadcast rights. But, has come up short.
