More Charges in Fatal Street Racing Hit and Run

AMARILLO -- A teenager is indicted again after a fatal hit and run racing death.
19-year-old Edwin Elias Ortiz has been indicted for Accident Involving Personal Injury or Death. He was originally indicted for Manslaughter.
Police say he was racing in May on I-40 in Amarillo. They say Ortiz hit 77-year-old Mearlene Hooker-Scott's car. Her car rolled down an embankment.
Police say Ortiz drove away from the scene. He was 18 at the time of the wreck.
