Bicycling Group Helps Out Downton Women's Center

AMARILLO -- Bicycling group Team Kordestani put their skills to the test, bringing presents to the Downtown Women's Center Sunday.
The Girl Scouts Trails were filled with bikes and joggers trying to get the best poker hand. Participants donated gifts for children between the ages of 10 to 18.
"The downtown womens center has 800 kids in need this year," said Team Kordestani Co-Captain Karie Mueller. "We are asking people to bring out gifts for kids that are from birth to eighteen, i think the greatest easiest for kids that are nine to eighteen."
