Amarillo Police Searching for Suspect in Family Dollar Store Armed Robbery

UPDATE -- Police have released pictures from the security camera from the robbery.
AMARILLO -- On Monday night at 9:50 p.m., Amarillo Police were called out to the Family Dollar Store at 433 S. Western on an armed robbery.

Officers learned that two female employees were in the store at the time of the robbery, when the robber entered through the front door.
The suspect approached the employee behind the counter with a gun and demanded money.
The employee gave him all the available cash.
The man put the money into some type of white bag that he brought with him and then walked out of the store. He was last seen walking south from the front door of the store.
No one was injured and there have been no arrests.
