CANYON -- West Texas A&M University was named the number one online graduate business program in the nation in the area of student services and technology by U.S. News & World Report.
U.S. News & World Report recognized WT's ability to give students unparalleled flexibility in how they learn without comprising adviser interaction and support service.
Additional rankings list WT as the number four for a regional university in the West, 37th in the student engagement category, 51st in the faculty credentials and training category and 56th overall out of approximately 200 online graduate business programs considered for the 2013 rankings.
"The recognition of the graduate business program at West Texas A&M University in the U.S. News & World Report 2013 rankings results from the dedication of our faculty, staff, administration and students to the principles of continuous improvement and innovation," Dr. LaVelle Mills, associate dean of graduate business programs and professor of management, said. "We still have several goals we hope to achieve as a business program in the next few years but receiving external recognition provides positive validation that we are moving in the right direction."
