Early Morning Wreck Kills Canadian Man

AMARILLO -- An early morning motorcycle accident kills one in Amarillo.
37 year old Heath Allen Albert from Canadian was pronounced dead at the scene. Albert was reportedly stopped at a red light on 45th and Canyon Drive before he and his motorcycle were struck from behind by a Dodge Challenger.
Thomas Earl Sautter, driver of the Challenger was arrested for intoxicated manslaughter. Amarillo Police Department say both alcohol and narcotics were factors in the wreck.
The investigation is on-going.
