Buffs Announce 2013 Schedule

CANYON -- The West Texas A&M football team announced its 2013 schedule on Monday.
The schedule features five games at home along with five road games and one neutral site game at Cowboys Stadium as part of the Lone Star Conference Football Festival.
For the second year in a row the Buffs will open the season in Colorado. West Texas A&M will travel to Gunnison, Colorado and play Western State on September 7th.
The Buffs will open the home portion of the schedule on September 21st against Texas A&M-Commerce. Commerce is now coached by former defensive coordinator Colby Carthel, the son of WT's head coach Don Carthel.
The Buffs will end the season against the 2012 LSC co-champion Midwestern State in Wichita Falls.
