Julie Clark was nominated by Jennifer Slough, a parent of one of Mrs. Clark's students. Jennifer had this to say, "She has more patience with these kids and always goes that extra mile to make sure they understand what they're doing at the time."
Andy Justus stopped by on Monday and surprised Mrs. Clark with the award. After getting a round of applause from her students, Mrs. Clark fought back the tears and talked about what it's like to be recognized, "It means everything. This is why we do it. This means more than a paycheck."
If you have a teacher you want to nominate just head over to the nomination form on this web site.
