Seliger Gets Nomination, Sure Reelection

AMARILLO -- Friends and family celebrated a win for Senator Kel Seliger
Tuesday night. The incumbent beat opponent Randy Rives of Midland for
the Republican nomination for the Texas State Senate District 31 with
covers the Panhandle and Permian Basin.
With no one running on the Democratic side, Sen. Seliger will take the seat in November.
"Very humble and grateful for people's support, for their confidence in me because I've been representing them in the Texas Senate. Its a wonderful experience," Seliger said.
This is will be the third term for the senator.
