Kidnapping Suspect in Court

Rayshaun Parson made her initial apperance in federal court in Lubbock Tuesday. She is charged with kidnapping Mychael Darthard from Covenant Lakeside Hospital Saturday. The baby was ill and 3 days old at the time. She was found safe in Clovis, New Mexico.
Police received a tip from someone that they recognized the suspect. Sunday morning, authorities found the baby in Clovis.
Parson is being held in the Lubbock County Jail.
