Sandies And Rebels Prep For Friday

AMARILLO -- The Tascosa Rebels are coming off their first district win of the season while Amarillo High is looking to keep its district record perfect.
Tascosa knocked off Lubbock High Tuesday in Amarillo. After struggling in the first quarter the Rebels opened up the second quarter on a 13-0 run to tie the game at halftime. Tascosa won the game 73-64 giving the Rebels their first district win of the season. They will travel to play Lubbock Coronado on Friday.
Amarillo High had a bye on Tuesday. The Sandies are a perfect 3-0 in district play and have lost just three games all season. The Amarillo High Activity Center has been a friendly venue for the home team this season; Amarillo High has yet to lose at home and will host Lubbock Monterey on Friday.
