WASHINGTON D.C. -- President Obama's annual budget goes to Congress today.
The budget is expected to include sweeping cuts in defense spending and billions of dollars in additional spending to rebuild highways, bridges, schools, airports and transit systems.
The President has argued that renovating the nation's aging infrastructure will create jobs while helping the U.S. catch-up to fast-moving nations like China.
