Father Who Let Young Daughter Drive To Be Sentenced Today

(Detroit, MI) -- A Michigan man who let his nine-year-old daughter act as his designated driver will be sentenced today.
In December, Shawn Weimer pleaded guilty to second-degree child abuse and allowing an unlicensed minor to drive a vehicle.
The case made headlines in October after video surveillance from a gas station showed the girl behind the wheel of her father's van.
