CANYON - The Canyon Independent School District is inviting the public to two meetings to discuss a proposed bond issue. Voters will talk about the $30.5 million bond. If it passes with voters, the school district plans to use much of the money to build two new elementary schools and two new sciences lab for Randall High School, among other things.
The first public meeting is scheduled for Thursday April 19 at 6 p.m. at Randall High School, at 5800 Attebury Drive in Amarillo. The second meeting will be Monday April 23 at 6 p.m. at Canyon High School, at 1701 23rd Street in Canyon.
