Habitat Homes Under Construction

On this cool and cloudy morning, something amazing was in the works. Two new houses were being built for Habitat for Humanity in Amarillo. In this current building blitz, four new houses will be built before Mothers Day. Its certainly a Mothers Day present anyone would love--a new three bedroom home with a no-interest mortgage. "The upshot is, some people that wouldnt be able to qualify for a mortgage, qualify for one through us," Katie Kirkwood of Habitat for Humanity said. The houses are built by volunteers.
