Jail Guard Arrested

Clovis -- an officer at the Curry County Detention Center has been arrested. 23-year-old Raul Lopez is accused of smuggling marijuana and tobacco to inmates. He faces three counts of bringing contraband into a place of imprisonment, and three counts of distribution of a controlled substance. Because hes a former guard, he was taken to the Parmer County Detention Center.
