Armed Robbery at 34th street Toot n Totum

AMARILLO -- On Wednesday night, Amarillo Officers were sent to an armed robbery at the Toot n Totum on SW 34th avenue.

The employee reported that the suspect entered the store wearing a ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt, and white shorts.

Police say the suspect immediately walked behind the counter and pointed what was described as a semi-automatic handgun at the employee.

The suspect told the employee to open the register and cooperate and the employee would not be harmed.

The suspect took money out of the register and took two packages of cigarettes from the display behind the counter, then left the store.

The employee was not injured and there have been no arrests in this incident.
