Amarillo -- The High Plains Food Bank has already donated more than 50,000 pounds of food to disaster victims. As a result, its supply has gone down, affecting distribution to a number of agencies who rely on the food.
Local Red Cross officials said the organization is also struggling after the recent tornadoes.
According to Red Cross Executive Director, Vicky Richmond, setting up shelters and providing services to victims has cost more than $300,000 dollars.
