ABOUT KRIS MILLER (Tucker Yelldell)

Kris attended West Texas A&M University in 1971, 72. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communications & Marketing from East Texas A&M University (Commerce, Texas) in 1975.
 
From the box office to the stage! At sixteen, he worked with his Mom and Dad selling tickets to a host of concerts promoted by the Tri-State Fair in Amarillo. The summers of 1971-73 were his first experience with TEXAS. Later he worked in Radio, both Sales and On-Air. Then, after several appearances on stage as an actor in the mid 70s and 80s, He made the decision to focus on the business side of show business.
 
From 1978 to 1985 he was a Personal Talent Manager and Booking Agent in Dallas, Texas.  He worked as an independent, and by contract for the Allen Agency and Cabaret Attractions.
 
In 1986 he was hired by the City of Amarillo, Texas where he managed The Amarillo Civic Center and The Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts.
 
Kris retired from the City of Amarillo in 2009 and began to work privately for a number of clients here in the US, and Mexico, as an entertainment marketing consultant. One of his clients was the Texas Panhandle Heritage Foundation. After almost 40 years, he was back with TEXAS.
 
He returned to the stage last summer as the popular comedic character, Tucker Yelldell. In September, he was appointed the shows, Executive Director by the Texas Panhandle Heritage Foundation, Board of Directors.
 
Kris is single and blessed with two daughters ages 22 & 24 and two grandsons ages 3 & 6.
