AMARILLO -- Badr Djelti has been indicted on one count of international parental kidnapping.
Djelti was temporarily living in Amarillo, when he took his child from daycare in Amarillo back in December and refused to return the child to it's mother.
A few days later the FBI says that Badr left Amarillo with the child and flew to Algeria.
Records show that he returned to the US in January, and told the child's mom he had left the child with his parents in Algeria.
During the investigation, the FBI says they found evidence that Badr was set to fly back to Algeria, but not return to the US.
